Sundays Are For Glimmer Hunting
PLUS THANK YOU for the overwhelming response to my book's beta reader response
Hi!
Sundays are for glimmer hunting.
Glimmers are faint, unsteady lights or tiny, positive moments that signal safety, joy, and connection, acting as the opposite of triggers. They are small, often-overlooked sparks—like sunshine on water or a warm smile. Micro-moments of regulation that foster feelings of well-being.
Once you train your brain to be on the lookout for glimmers, these tiny moments will appear more and more.
I try to find them in the morning, in nature, in play, on the water.
Who’s glimmer hunting with me today?
Thank you for the overwhelming response to my book beta reader request!!!
I couldn’t do this without you! This only tells me that the world is ready for the Unhustle message. We are not just ready but in dire need of it in this crazy world. I really appreciate your interest. After 5 years working on the book, it’s time to let this work into the world. We have a core group of readers who have started the journey of reading and providing feedback. If you’re interested in getting involved at a later date with an early read-through, please fill out this form. Since I’m going to self-publish the book, it will be up to my community to help me spread the word and get the Amazon algorithms to do their magic so that more people can see it. So thank you in advance!
Here are a few interesting articles I spotted lately worth a read:
How to prepare for the next decade is a great post on how AI is accelerating our lives and just makes Unhustle message even more urgent.
I chase years chasing more here’s what I found instead by Emma Tynan is about the myth of falling into the cult of efficiency and the quest for belonging. “I no longer want more. I want to be wild.”
Enjoy both reads.
See you next week,
Milena
P.S. Happy glimmer hunting! Leave a comment and let me know where you find them.
